GOD IS MOST WELCOME
Grace Fellowship Church, longs to honor the Lord with our lives and create an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit is most welcome in all that we do. We recognize that we can do nothing without God visiting us and inhabiting His people. The Lord said, “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5) We truly believe this at GFC and in so doing we attempt to accommodate the Holy Spirit in all our activities.
We see a huge need in our culture today for a safe place to raise our children and an environment that helps parents and adults share their sincere struggles, as well as offer godly solutions to the common problems of the day. Thus, we are constantly striving to create an environment where God is most welcome, which has birthed an atmosphere of life, love, faith and hope for families and singles.
SEARCH & RESCUE
We believe God’s heart is passionate about reaching out to the hurting, lost and broken. The Lord Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” (Luke 4:18-19) We have found that most of us, in some area of our lives, are broken and in need of a healing touch from God. We hope that Grace Fellowship, through the saving power of Jesus Christ, can be that healing touch for you.
The Lord tells us to search for His missing family members, to bring them into the fellowship of the church and love them like Christ has loved us. Our slogan has been for years, “Welcome Home” and its intent is to say that we want you to feel at home here with us and if the Lord leads you, we invite you with open arms, to join us and find a life-giving community and family church.
LOVE – LOVE – LOVE
GFC is committed first, to the Lord Jesus Christ, in loving Him wholeheartedly. “…you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.” (Mark 12:30) Secondly, to loving each other, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35) Finally, to loving our neighbor and the world, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Mark 12:31)
Love – love – love, first God, then each other and then the world around us and abroad. We believe this recipe is God’s response to the trials in our life and the troubles in the world. However, this is a journey and not a destination. With this in mind, we desire as a church, to invite you to join us on this voyage toward a deeper relationship with the Lord and each other.
